How to Prepare for this Year of The Ox
Chinese Niu Year (CNY) is just 2 weeks away, how exciting! Even with tighter restrictions, we can still celebrate this CNY with our family and friends - just a little differently.
In this Year of the Ox, the lucky colours are black and white as you can see via our zodiac post for CNY 2021. You should also know that its the element governing this year is the Metal Ox. If you are looking for something to keep your luck and feng shui going, look no further than our Goddess Perfume which has one of the lucky colours - Black!
What’s so special about our new Eau de Parfum, GODDESS?
With a divine blend of ingredients, our GODDESS provides the perfect fragrance for every occasion - especially for CNY. From top notes with a citrusy blend including Shikoku Yuzu and Lemon Peels to middle notes with floral scents like Sakura Tea and Dandelion, ending with base notes with woody and musky scents including Sandalwood and Ambergis.
GODDESS creates a fragrance unlike any other that unleashes the radiance within so you can smell divine throughout the day - because why just look good when you can smell good too?
CNY is so nearby and with us looking for CNY outfits or decorations, adding a fragrance to that long-list of CNY preparations is a bonus you won’t regret. Even more so, if you believe in Feng Shui the lucky colour for the Year of The Ox is black and/or white. Our Eau de Parfum, GODDESS is black in colour and though there may not be white, there is a subtle tinge of pink as the text adding to a sleek design that is compact and convenient to bring with wherever you go.
Restrictions for the upcoming festive season have however become stricter with advisories including CNY home visits to up to 3 homes per day to reduce the risks. Even with these restrictions, we can still place our and others health and well-being before us yet still indulge in the festivities around us. Preparing for this Year of The Ox is indeed like no other, as we enter a new norm of COVID-19 restrictions continuing to ensure our health and safety is the priority.
Not celebrating in person might feel a whole lot differently, especially with family reunions, but we should at least try, when and if we can, to connect digitally as well. Also, even if we meet in person or online, when we prepare ourselves for CNY and dress up, we should do it for ourselves first - especially if you live alone! If you dress up to look your best and add a spritz of our Eau de Parfum, GODDESS to smell divine, you are guaranteed to feel your best too.
It’s really about getting in the festive mood and giving ourselves time to enjoy it from CNY snacks to reuniting with family and friends online or offline.
Just because things go differently, doesn’t really mean anything has changed. The purpose and principles behind celebrating CNY are still vibrantly active are they not?
